ADMISSIONS
A clear and supportive admissions process
Every enquiry begins with understanding the learner’s current situation, goals, support needs and preferred pathway.
The admissions journey
01
Enquiry: Share the learner’s age, educational history, subjects, support needs and preferred location.
02
Initial conversation: Discuss needs, goals, timetable and funding. Relevant reports or an EHCP may be requested.
03
Assessment and suitability: A baseline, meeting, visit or trial session helps establish whether the proposed programme is suitable and safe.
04
Written offer: Where WINA can meet need, the offer describes provision, fees, start date, delivery and any conditions.
05
Enrolment: Required forms, consent, evidence and payment or funding confirmation complete the process.
Assessment
Supportive baseline and subject-specific assessment identifies current level, strengths and areas for development.
Information and support needs
Share relevant reports, an EHCP, previous-school information or professional assessments so support considerations can be reviewed properly.
