Unable to access their current school placement

At risk of exclusion or needing re-engagement

Experiencing anxiety or school avoidance

Needing a smaller or calmer setting

Requiring post-16 GCSE or Functional Skills progression

Needing short-term assessment or a supported return to learning

Programme design
A programme may combine English, Maths, Science, ICT, Functional Skills, life skills, careers, supported study and pastoral work. The exact offer is based on referral information, assessment, funding and capacity.
Referral, outcomes and review
WINA agrees intended outcomes, attendance, reporting and review arrangements with the family and commissioner. Progress should be reviewed regularly and provision adjusted where appropriate.
