From referral information to review
01 Context
Intended outcomes, education history, SEND, safeguarding, risks, funding, transport and reporting expectations.
02 Assessment
WINA reviews the information and may arrange an assessment or provision discussion.
03 Written offer
Hours, staffing, curriculum, fees, communication, review dates and responsibilities are defined.
04 Review
Attendance, engagement, progress and intended outcomes are reviewed with the professional network.
Services may include
Alternative Provision and EOTAS; EHCP-funded teaching; GCSE, Functional Skills and vocational pathways; home or community teaching where agreed; private examinations and access arrangements; life skills and preparation for adulthood.
Quality and accountability
A written service offer should define hours, staffing, curriculum, fees, communication, review dates and responsibilities. Reporting may cover progress, attendance and engagement.
